CVS Will Sell Hemp CBD Oil Products

In an unbelievable turn of events, a retail chain has decided to start selling hemp CBD oil products. CVS Pharmacy announced on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 that it will begin selling CBD products in 800 of its stores in eight states across America. The states are Alabama, Colorado, Indiana, California, Maryland, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

It will limit its CBD products to CBD-infused creams, roll-ons, salves and sprays. Essentially, they are limiting their niche to topical Cannabidiol oil products. They will be marketed as “an alternative source of relief.” CVS Health Spokesman Mike DeAngelis stated that they were trying to meet the market demand for CBD products and alternative care. They are limiting their CBD oil products for sale to topical elements because the FDA has not taken an official stance on CBD supplements. The FDA has stated that CBD cannot be introduced into food or beverages, and can't be marketed as a dietary supplement. Therefore, CVS will not carry these products for the time being.

CBD oil has been booming like crazy over the past year. Thousands of consumers are touting about the benefits of hemp-derived CBD oil. A quick Google search will reveal the multitude of effects you could receive.
